December 2022 Update
The economic-winter-is-coming edition This will be the last monthly update, since they quickly started to feel a bit forced.
The past six months have been a time to gather resources, like a squirrel gathering its nuts. The next six will probably be more of the same.
This does not mean you cannot look around for assets to buy at the time being, but don’t pull the trigger yet, there might be deals coming up you wouldn’t dare dream of right now.

November 2022 Update
The temperatures-are-going-down edition While the traffic on our websites is going up towards the holiday period, outside it’s getting colder, darker and windier.
It’s the time to stay in, self-reflect and work hard on our online businesses. (seriously, what else are you going to do?)
And best of all, it’s time for a quick update.
Since we’re not ready yet for a market rally or to take our designated seat at the Christmas diner table, we can focus 100% on business.

October 2022 Update
The look-at-that-traffic-going-up edition The end-of-year traffic spikes are sneaking into the blogs right now, traffic has on average been up about 20% by now.
Marketplace deals have been on the decline, most people have been pushing them on there before the big EOY storm in hope of getting a higher multiple. It’ll be interesting what deals we will get in the first half of the next year and how the economic situation will affect revenue and multiples.

September 2022 Update
It’s that time of the month again, monthly update! Even though this isn’t scheduled or anything.
Started the freelance gig I mentioned last month, which is a 24 month deal, had to spent most of my time focussing on that which means I haven’t added any new contact to the blogs, been letting that Adsense money trickle in and see where we eventually end up.
The acquisition of the new techy blog sadly didn’t go through, I remain vigilant to find a new addition to the portfolio, perhaps the next months some opportunities will arise.

August 2022 Update
So it’s been a while since I’ve published a new post on my personal blog so I thought I’d provide a small update to anyone interested (Hi, mom!).
I’ve spent most of my time in the past months updating my business-finance-lifestyle blog BizFinLife.com. On this blog I post informational and educational articles based on my recent experience making the switch from freelance to a remote, online business.
The blog has finally been monetized via Adsense so let’s say the first hurdle has been passed now.
